Many of the younger generation of
Singaporeans are kinder to stray cats. This kindness sometimes
conflicts with the parents of the baby-boomer generation. Sometimes
the mother has to pay for the spays and neuters as their "babies"
adopt back stray cats. Children will always remain "babies" to their
mothers. When the children are busy or out, the mothers are
shouldered with the responsibilities of caring for the adopted cats.
The picture of ovaries of a young 6-month old cat known to be
caterwauling is shown her to help veterinary students studying
anatomy. What is follicle? What is follicle stimulating
hormone? What is corpus luteum? What is uterine mucosa? A picture
here is worth a thousand words to help students understand their
anatomy and physiology.
Below is a picture of a pregnant cat showing the corpus luteum is shown

Vet Students - What is a corpus luteum? The uterine body has
foetal lumps. The cat was in early
pregnancy, around 1-2 week.
